Devil’s Lake, WI

A wicked case of cabin fever drove us to Devil’s Lake for a winter hike and some scrambling.  After and overnight stay at our lakehouse in Delavan, WI we geared up and pointed the car north.  There had been a great snow a few days previous and the park looked wonderful.  We scrambled up the boulder field, and then used the well-marked hiking trails to get back down a few times.  It was a great workout and made us forget (temporarily) that we live in the flatlands.
